Mudcat Records, Pittsburgh, Pa announces the release of the latest album from Rob Williams and The Bluesdrivers

"Cold city". The album features 10 songs from the band including previous recordings never before heard and performed.

The band will be touring the Pittsburgh area promoting the new release in the summer and fall of 2025 highlighting the long awaited album and bringing music exceeding the normal boundaries of Blues/Rock.

Rob Williams last release was in 2019 with the "Gone too Long" album featuring the hit song Bad Mojo which received high marks in the UK. Cold City, showcases melodic riffs, haunting lyrics and fresh guitar work and songs  by Rob Williams.

Singles have been released to all major streaming and media platforms and the full album  is available for digital download on their website.  Rob Williams's guitar work on the new album was well thought out with odes to his influences and new twists on his tone which he credits to his new rig. The new Justine studio, where the album was recorded in Pittsburgh, featured new Mic setups and a software upgrade to really capture a more modern and analog feel to the music as well as a themed look to bring out the inspiration.

The new album features:

1. I don't need

2.The Letter

3.Street corner blues

4. It won't be long

5. Cold City

6.Devil woman blues

7.Bad luck again

8. None else to blame

9.Whats on your mind

10.Echoes

There is sonorous nature to the songs and intervals from works that we've never heard before, making them seem like a long lost friend, almost like meeting someone and intuitively feeling relaxed around them as though you've known them all your life.
